Put our on-road price calculator on your site
One line of HTML gives your readers the full drive-away cost of a car in their own state — ex-showroom, road tax on that state's own slab, insurance, TCS where it applies, registration and FASTag, itemised and added up. It is free, there is nothing to sign up for, and it loads no script onto your page.
Your reader can change the variant and the state inside the widget. This only sets what it opens on.
Pick a car to start
Road tax is banded on ex-showroom price, so the on-road total genuinely differs from one variant to the next — which is why the widget needs a variant and not just a car.
What your readers get
The widget covers 99 cars and 1122 variants, in all 36 states and union territories, each on its own published road-tax structure. The figures are the same ones the rest of this site is built on, computed by the same function — so the widget and our own calculator cannot disagree.
Inside the frame there are two selects: the reader can change the variant and the state without leaving your page. Road tax is banded on ex-showroom price, so both of those genuinely move the total.
Ex-showroom prices are quoted in Delhi and every page says so, including the widget. What a car costs to put on the road then differs by state, which is the whole point of the thing.

Using it
Use it on any site, commercial or not. The only condition is the one built into the widget: leave the “Powered by CarMaths.in” line at the bottom alone, so a reader who wants the working can find it. That link goes to the page for the car in the frame — its variants, what each upgrade costs and what the equipment is worth — not to our homepage, so a reader who clicks it lands on the answer to their next question.
The snippet above fixes the car, the variant it opens on and the state it opens on, and your reader can change the last two inside the frame. If you would rather write the URL by hand, state= takes either the state name as it appears above or its two-letter registration code — state=tamil-nadu and state=TN are the same page.
The frame is sized for a sidebar at up to 420 pixels wide and lays out down to a phone. Give it the full width of its column and adjust height to taste; nothing inside is clipped if you give it less, it simply scrolls.
Prices move, and manufacturers do not announce it. The widget reads whatever the catalogue holds at the time it is loaded, so an embed never goes stale on your page — you do not have to come back and update anything.
Something looks wrong, or you want a shape this does not cover? Tell us. If you would rather compute the figures yourself, the methodology sets out every line in the invoice and where the rate comes from.
