Across every car we track

Trim by trim

Each block is one trim level. The cheapest powertrain at that trim is the baseline; every other is shown as what it costs over it.

No trim on this car is offered on more than one powertrain, so there is no like-for-like choice to compare.

MG Majestor powertrains: common questions

How many powertrains is the MG Majestor sold with?
2: Diesel automatic, Diesel automatic 4WD. The cheapest way into the range is the Savvy 4x2 2.0 Twin Turbo Diesel AT at ₹43,49,000 ex-showroom, and the dearest entry point is the Savvy 4x4 2.0 Twin Turbo Diesel AT at ₹45,99,000.

What this car's data leaves out

Both versions MG prices: the Savvy seven-seater in rear-wheel drive (4x2) and four-wheel drive (4x4). Left out: the 4x2 six-seater with second-row captain's chairs, priced the same as the seven-seater. MG publishes no fuel-efficiency figure, so none is shown.

Data notes — where these figures come from

Prices from MG's own price service behind its on-road price calculator, read 29 Oct 2026, matching the price panel on the last page of MG's brochure (created 5 October 2026) and the model page's own FAQ. The prices name no city; MG's page notes only that prices may vary in the Southern region. MG's launch release of 27 May 2026 gave lower launch prices (40.99 lakh for the 4x2, 44.99 lakh for the 4x4); the current figures are stored. VARIANTS: MG sells one trim, Savvy, as a 4x2 six-seater, a 4x2 seven-seater and a 4x4 seven-seater; the brochure says captain's chairs are 'Option Available w/ 2WD'. The seven-seaters are held. LEFT OUT: the 4x2 six-seater, priced the same as the seven-seater. A 'Sharp' trim named in MG's February 2026 unveil release was never priced. The Gloster is no longer sold: MG's Gloster page redirects to this car and MG's price service no longer lists it. ENGINE: MG prints 158 kW (215 PS) and 478.5 Nm for both drivetrains; 158 kW is converted at 1.34102 to 212 bhp. MG's page and releases print 215.5 PS. MG gives the engine as 2.0 litres and prints no cc figure, so none is stored. MG prints no certified fuel efficiency, so none is stored. The 4x2 is rear-wheel drive per MG's FAQ. NO GRADE WALK: one trim, so frequentlyComparedPairs is empty, and the two versions differ in drivetrain, which is not compared. 4x4 ONLY: low range, three differential locks, M-Crawl and ten off-road modes; with the Sport, Normal and Eco drive modes both versions carry, the 4x4 earns the drive-and-terrain entry and the 4x2 the drive-modes entry. MAPPING: the 31.24 cm (12.3-inch) touchscreen and cluster at the 12.3-inch touchscreen and full digital cluster levels; the R19 alloys at the 18-inch level; MG's 'Leather*', which it says contains synthetic materials, earns the leatherette entry; the 12-way powered driver's seat is read as height-adjustable; the 'Galaxy View Roof' is the panoramic sunroof of MG's launch release and opens by the remote key; adaptive cruise also earns the cruise-control entry. Headlamps are 'LED headlamps with dual projector and mono reflector' with 'Dragon Eye' DRLs whose light source is not stated, so the LED projector level. Automatic headlamps and mirrors that fold automatically on locking are from MG's owner's manual, which the brochure does not contradict. NOT CREDITED, each because MG says less than our entry needs: the reversing camera (the owner's manual describes static reversing lines; the 360-degree camera is credited); the tyre-pressure monitor (no per-tyre readout stated); the 64-colour ambient lighting (MG places it on the doors and does not say it runs across the dashboard); front fog lamps (only a rear fog lamp is listed); the climate panel (buttons with a small readout, not a separate touch display); and the PM2.5 filter, which is not a purifier. ROOF RAILS (29 Oct 2026): the maker lists roof rails and does not describe them as a garnish or styling element, so they are credited under the same rule as every other car; no load rating is published.
