Hyundai Alcazar: which powertrain?

The Hyundai Alcazar is sold as 4 separate ranges. Pick a trim and this shows what each powertrain costs at that trim, and whether the gearbox brings any equipment with it.

What it costs to run

Fuel only — change any figure to your own

Prices are Delhi's, read 2026-11-04. Fuel duty is set per state, so they are the state's figure rather than Delhi's.

Variantkm/lFuel, a year
Executive 1.5 Turbo Petrol MT· no certified figure—
Executive 1.5 Diesel MT· no certified figure—

Fuel only. It does not price servicing, insurance, tyres or what the Hyundai Alcazar is worth when you sell it — a diesel usually costs more to maintain, and we publish no figure for that rather than estimate one. 2 of these variants have no certified efficiency, so type your own to see a cost.

Across every car we track

Trim by trim

Each block is one trim level. The cheapest powertrain at that trim is the baseline; every other is shown as what it costs over it.

Hyundai Alcazar powertrains: common questions

How many powertrains is the Hyundai Alcazar sold with?
4: Petrol manual, Diesel manual, Petrol DCT, Diesel automatic. The cheapest way into the range is the Executive 1.5 Turbo Petrol MT at ₹14,50,700 ex-showroom, and the dearest entry point is the Corporate 1.5 Diesel AT at ₹18,81,300.
On the Hyundai Alcazar, does changing powertrain change the equipment?
Not on the Executive, which is sold as both the Executive 1.5 Turbo Petrol MT and the Executive 1.5 Diesel MT with identical equipment. The ₹99,100 between them buys the powertrain and nothing else.

What this car's data leaves out

The seven-seat Alcazar in every trim and powertrain Hyundai prices - 10 variants across four engine-and-gearbox combinations. Left out: the six-seat Signature, the five-seat Signature Lounge, the Knight Edition and dual-tone paint. No certified fuel-efficiency figure is stored, because the brochure publishes none.

Data notes — where these figures come from

Four ladders: 1.5 turbo petrol manual (Executive, Prestige, Platinum), the same engine on the 7-speed DCT (Prestige, Signature), 1.5 diesel manual (Executive, Corporate, Platinum) and the diesel 6-speed torque-converter automatic (Corporate, Signature). Prestige is petrol only and Corporate diesel only, which is Hyundai's own engine-and-trim plan, and the price list carries exactly that set. Variant names drop the '7S' Hyundai's price list prints, because only seven-seaters are held. LEFT OUT. The Signature 6-seater (captain chairs, petrol DCT and diesel AT), under the agreed rule that a six-seat version is left out where a seven-seater exists: a seat count is not equipment, and laddering it would price captain chairs against a bench. The Signature Lounge, diesel AT only at Rs 21,80,700, because Hyundai's own footnote says 'The Lounge edition is available only in a 2-row, 5-seat configuration and does not include third-row seating' - comparing it with the seven-seat Signature would score the missing third row as nothing. The Knight Edition and every Dual Tone row as appearance and paint editions. SUNROOF ON THE DIESELS - read three ways, because it looks wrong. The panoramic sunroof row reads '-' on Executive, 'S' on Corporate, and 'PL only' on Prestige, Platinum and Signature. PL is petrol: the specification table says 'PL: Spare 215/60 R17 steel' and 'DSL: Tyre mobility kit', and two lamp rows confirm it independently - LED reading lamps read 'PL only' and an LED centre lamp reads 'DSL only' on exactly the same three columns, which is the roof console a sunroof carries and the plain lamp a solid roof gets. So the diesel Platinum and diesel Signature have no sunroof while the cheaper diesel Corporate does, and the Corporate-to-Platinum and Corporate-to-Signature diesel steps report the sunroof as given up. That is Hyundai's document, not a data fault. CELL-LEVEL MARKS honoured. '#Applicable for DCT / AT only' covers hill descent control, the electronic parking brake, drive modes, terrain traction modes and paddle shifters on Prestige and Corporate, so only the Prestige DCT and Corporate AT carry them. The Platinum has the electronic parking brake and hill descent control as standard though it is sold only as a manual. Level 2 ADAS is credited on the Signature alone: the Platinum carries Hyundai's camera-and-radar suite (collision avoidance, lane keeping, lane following, blind-spot avoidance) but plain cruise control, and the brochure's note says the Signature AT/DCT gets Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go instead - our registry entry needs adaptive cruise, the same call as the Verna HX8 manual. Cruise control is still credited on the Signature, as it is on the Creta King. Deliberately not credited. The Executive has no infotainment row marked at all - no head unit, speakers, Bluetooth or steering audio controls - so none is credited. The 'Digital cluster with color TFT MID' on Executive, Prestige and Corporate is not credited as a digital cluster, the same call as the Creta. Second-row ventilated seats are six-seater only. No front fog lamps, head-up display or air purifier row appears. The 8-way powered driver's seat on Platinum and Signature is credited alongside height adjustment, because a powered seat adjusts height too. Roof rails are credited on every trim: the bridge-type rails are listed silver on all five and black on the Knight. Moonwhite ambient lighting on the dashboard and front and rear doors is standard on all five trims. WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO (9 Oct 2026): Hyundai's brochure (alcazar.pdf) marks 'Wireless Android Auto & Apple Carplay' S~ on every column but Executive, the ~ footnoting that it 'is available through wired to wireless adapter' — a Hyundai-supplied adapter, which this entry's definition includes.
