A total is the most the published parts can come to, not the cheque: exchange, scrappage, loyalty and corporate parts need a car to trade or a scheme you qualify for. The source names no end date, so 30 Nov 2026 is the end of the month the offers were announced for, and a festive bonus may end sooner. Offers vary by city and dealer stock, so confirm with a dealer. Every row was read from dated press reports of each manufacturer's offers for the month, read on 4 Nov 2026, and we keep the link to each. Ask at hello@carmaths.in for any of them. Mahindra Scorpio Classic: questions buyers ask

How many variants does the Mahindra Scorpio Classic have?

2, across 1 powertrain, from ₹13,43,200 to ₹17,48,400 ex-showroom. The S and the S11, each as the seven-seater with side-facing third-row seats. Left out: the S nine-seater and the S11 captain-chair seven-seater, which change the seating rather than the equipment. Mahindra publishes no certified efficiency figure for this car, so none is shown.

What is the EMI on the Mahindra Scorpio Classic?

About ₹26,436 a month for the cheapest variant, S 2.2 Diesel MT: ₹16,01,210 on the road in Delhi, 20% down, and a loan of ₹12,80,968 at 8.75% a year for 5 years. A different rate, tenure or down payment changes it — the EMI calculator works it out for your own figures.

Are there offers on the Mahindra Scorpio Classic this month?

Yes. The biggest Mahindra offer we have recorded on the Scorpio Classic for November 2026 is ₹40,000 (S11 (Diesel manual)), until 30 Nov 2026. Offers come off the ex-showroom price, include exchange or scheme parts not every buyer gets, and vary by city and dealer stock.

What are the Mahindra Scorpio Classic's dimensions, boot space and ground clearance?

It is 4,456 mm long, 1,820 mm wide and 1,995 mm tall, on a 2,680 mm wheelbase. We hold no ground clearance figure from Mahindra's own documents. The fuel tank holds 60 litres. These are Mahindra's own figures.

When was the Mahindra Scorpio Classic launched?

The Mahindra Scorpio Classic on sale now, the facelifted second-generation Scorpio, was launched in India in Aug 2022. It has not been facelifted since.

Is a new Mahindra Scorpio Classic or a facelift coming?

Mahindra has announced nothing, and we found no credible reports of one as of 1 Nov 2026.

What colours does the Mahindra Scorpio Classic come in?

Mahindra lists 4 colours: Galaxy Grey, Diamond White, Everest White, Stealth Black. Not every colour is offered on every variant.

What is the Mahindra Scorpio Classic's safety rating?

There is no Bharat NCAP or Global NCAP rating for the Mahindra Scorpio Classic as it is sold now. The published results are for an earlier version or an older test protocol.

What is the on-road price of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic?

The cheapest variant, S 2.2 Diesel MT, comes to about ₹16,01,210 on road in Delhi — ₹13,43,200 ex-showroom plus road tax, insurance, registration and TCS where it applies. Road tax is set by the state, so the total moves by a lakh or more between them.

How we checked these figures

Data notes — where these figures come from

TWO TRIMS, ONE POWERTRAIN, so this car publishes one comparison, S to S11. Mahindra's variant matrix sells the S as a 7-seater with side-facing third-row seats (7SF) or a 9-seater (9SF), and the S11 as a 7SF or a captain-chair 7-seater (7CC). Both trims are modelled as the 7SF, the one seating layout both share, so the step compares like with like. The S 9-seater (Rs 13,90,900) and the S11 7CC (Rs 17,48,400, the same price as the 7SF) are left out because a seat count is not equipment: laddering the 9-seater in would score a seating layout as kit. The S11 7CC's removable third row is likewise not a registry feature. Neither brochure mentions four-wheel drive and Mahindra prices no 4WD version, so no drivetrain is set beyond the default. ESC is listed on both trims, which earns the stability-control entry now that it no longer requires hill-start assist (29 Oct 2026); the S11's 'Ski Rack' is not credited as roof rails, because the brochure does not say it is load-bearing; the S11's 'Projector Headlamps and LED Eyebrows' are projector headlamps with LED eyebrows, not LED projector units, so neither headlamp entry is credited; 'Arm Rest Front Seats' are armrests on the seats themselves, not a centre armrest with storage; the steering is tilt-only. The S has no audio system at all ('Speakers' is crossed on the S), and the S11's 22.86 cm touchscreen with phone screen mirroring is 9.0 inches and sits at the 9-inch rung. Power windows are credited on both trims: the brochure lists their switches on the console for the S and on the door trims for the S11, i.e. both have them, and the credit is uniform so it cannot move the step. Central locking is manual on the S and remote on the S11. Intellipark rear parking sensors, follow-me-home lamps, static bending headlamps, DRLs and engine start-stop are not registry features. SEGMENT CALL, flagged for the owner: executive_premium, beside the Scorpio N it is sold under, so the 'Scorpio Classic or Scorpio N' matchup exists; it shares the Scorpio N Z2 and Z4 diesel's engine tune. WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO (9 Oct 2026): not credited on any variant. Mahindra's brochure (Scorpio-Classic-Brochure_SV.pdf) names no smartphone projection at all.
