Maruti Eeco
Maruti's passenger van, sold through Arena: a 1.2 K12N petrol or factory S-CNG, five-speed manual only, with sliding rear doors and six airbags on every variant.

*Ex-showroom, Delhi · Prices checked Nov 2026
All 3 variants across 2 powertrains, priced from petrol manual upwards. Left out: the six-seater, which changes the seating rather than the equipment, and the commercial Cargo, Tour and Ambulance versions. Every Eeco variant scores the same on the equipment we price, because what separates them — air-conditioning and a cabin filter — is not in our registry.

Maruti Eeco: questions buyers ask
How many variants does the Maruti Eeco have?
3, across 2 powertrains, from ₹5,28,400 to ₹6,45,800 ex-showroom. Left out: the six-seater, which changes the seating rather than the equipment, and the commercial Cargo, Tour and Ambulance versions. Every Eeco variant scores the same on the equipment we price, because what separates them — air-conditioning and a cabin filter — is not in our registry.
What is the EMI on the Maruti Eeco?
About ₹9,609 a month for the cheapest variant, 5-Seater STD 1.2 Petrol MT: ₹5,82,007 on the road in Delhi, 20% down, and a loan of ₹4,65,606 at 8.75% a year for 5 years. A different rate, tenure or down payment changes it — the EMI calculator works it out for your own figures.
What are the Maruti Eeco's dimensions, boot space and ground clearance?
It is 3,675 mm long, 1,475 mm wide and 1,825 mm tall, on a 2,350 mm wheelbase. We hold no ground clearance figure from Maruti Suzuki's own documents. The fuel tank holds 32 litres. These are Maruti Suzuki's own figures.
When was the Maruti Eeco launched?
The Maruti Eeco on sale now, the first generation, was launched in India in Jan 2010. It was last facelifted in Nov 2022: New 1.2 K-series Dual Jet petrol engine with more power and better efficiency, plus a revised interior.
Is a new Maruti Eeco or a facelift coming?
Maruti Suzuki has announced nothing, and we found no credible reports of one as of 1 Nov 2026.
What colours does the Maruti Eeco come in?
Maruti Suzuki lists 5 colours: Bluish Black, Metallic Glistening Grey, Solid White, Metallic Brisk Blue, Metallic Silky Silver. Not every colour is offered on every variant.
What is the Maruti Eeco's safety rating?
There is no Bharat NCAP or Global NCAP rating for the Maruti Eeco as it is sold now. The published results are for an earlier version or an older test protocol.
What is the on-road price of the Maruti Eeco?
The cheapest variant, 5-Seater STD 1.2 Petrol MT, comes to about ₹5,82,007 on road in Delhi — ₹5,28,400 ex-showroom plus road tax, insurance, registration and TCS where it applies. Road tax is set by the state, so the total moves by a lakh or more between them.
How we checked these figures
Data notes — where these figures come from
THE 5 SEATER STANDARD, 5 SEATER AC AND 5 SEATER AC CNG ONLY. Maruti's passenger price list carries a fourth, the 6 Seater Standard at Rs 5,54,900, and it is left out deliberately: it is the Standard with a third-row bench in place of the 5-seater's luggage space, and its price sits between the two 5-seaters, so laddering it in would score a seating layout as equipment and then report the dearer 5 Seater AC as giving up a row of seats - the same error that keeps a gearbox from ever being scored as equipment here. The Ambulance, Ambulance Shell, Cargo and Tour are commercial versions and are not modelled. WHAT THE UPGRADE BUYS IS NOT IN OUR REGISTRY, and that has to be read correctly: the brochure's only differences between the Standard and the AC are the air-conditioner, a cabin air filter and a co-driver seat-back pocket, none of which we value, so the Rs 32,900 step scores zero - the same position as the Alto K10's STD(O) to LXi(O). Read it as 'we cannot price this upgrade', not 'this upgrade buys nothing'. ESP is listed on every variant, which earns the stability-control entry now that it no longer requires hill-start assist (29 Oct 2026); the wheels carry centre caps, not full wheel covers; there is no audio system, no power windows and no central locking on any variant; and the reverse parking sensors are not a registry feature. Six airbags (dual front plus side and curtain) are standard on all three and credited. NO SEGMENT PARTNER: Maruti files the Eeco under 'Vans', separate from its MPVs, and no other van is in the catalogue, so the Eeco has no model-against-model matchup by design - a van matched against an entry hatchback would compare two body styles on equipment alone. The 'van' segment carries the entry-hatchback multiplier, 0.7, because the two are bought at the same money. WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO (9 Oct 2026): not credited on any variant. The Eeco has no touchscreen.
