What this car's data leaves out
Every trim and gearbox MG prices on the 1.5 petrol. Left out: the Blackstorm edition, dual-tone paint and the Savvy Pro 'R' version MG lists ₹20,000 above the Savvy Pro. No fuel-efficiency figure is shown because MG publishes none.
Data notes — where these figures come from
Prices from MG's own Astor page, the 'Starts From' variant cards, read 29 Oct 2026, which match MG's own price service and the brochure's price list (effective 2 January 2026, ex-showroom) to the rupee on all seven. VARIANTS: the brochure's engine-and-trim plan sells the manual on Sprint, Shine, Select and Sharp Pro and the CVT on Select, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro, which is the seven held. The Savvy Pro is shown with an Ivory and a Sangria Red interior at the same price; the brochure calls these interior themes, so one variant is held. LEFT OUT: dual-tone paint (₹20,000 on the brochure's list); the Blackstorm, which appears only as a picture on MG's page and has no price; and a 'Savvy Pro R' row in MG's price service at ₹15,50,100, ₹20,000 above the Savvy Pro, which MG's page does not show and does not explain. The 1.3 turbo automatic of the 2021 launch is no longer sold. A line on the Shine card about an electric parking brake '(CVT)' is not read as a Shine CVT, which neither the price list nor the trim plan contains. ENGINE: MG prints 110 PS at 6000 rpm and 144 Nm at 4400 rpm from 1498 cc; 110 PS is converted at 0.986 to 108 bhp. MG prints no certified fuel efficiency, so none is stored. NO GRADE WALK: the brochure is a five-column grid, not an 'X over Y' chain, so frequentlyComparedPairs is empty. GEARBOX-QUALIFIED CELLS: the electric parking brake with auto hold and the wireless charger are marked '(CVT)' on Select, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro, and are credited to the CVT versions only. MAPPING: the 25.7 cm (10.1-inch) touchscreen at the 9-inch level; the 17.78 cm cluster from Select at the 7-inch level (the 8.9 cm multi-info display on Sprint and Shine earns no cluster credit); the 6-way powered driver's seat on Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro at the 4-way level; the man-made perforated leather from Select earns the leatherette entry; the 6-way manual seat on Sprint to Select is read as height-adjustable. Level 2 ADAS and the blind-spot monitor are Savvy Pro only (adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, emergency braking, blind spot detection). Fog lamps are 'Front Fog Lamp with Cornering Assist' from Shine with no LED stated, so the lower level. Rear power windows from the brochure's 'All Power Windows' row. NOT CREDITED, each because the brochure says less than our entry needs: the reversing camera from Shine (no guideline type stated); the TPMS from Select (type not stated; the connected 'critical tyre pressure' alert is not a per-tyre readout); the Sprint's R16 steel wheels (no covers stated); 'Power Foldable ORVM' from Select (not automatic folding); 'Tilt Steering' (no reach); the PM2.5 filter; and the three steering modes, which are not drive modes. No manual day/night mirror is listed below Sharp Pro, so none is credited. ROOF RAILS (29 Oct 2026): the maker lists roof rails and does not describe them as a garnish or styling element, so they are credited under the same rule as every other car; no load rating is published.
