Renault Triber
The upgrade our valuation covers best is Techno → Emotion on the 1.0 Turbo petrol manual: ₹46,000 buys ₹86,450 of equipment — 187% of the price rise, so the kit alone covers what it costs.

Which Renault Triber variant is the best value?
Techno 1.0 Turbo Petrol MT to Emotion 1.0 Turbo Petrol MT costs ₹46,000, and the equipment it adds is worth ₹86,450 — 187% of the price rise. Which Renault Triber variant gives back the least?
Evolution 1.0 Petrol MT to Techno 1.0 Petrol MT costs ₹70,515, and the equipment it adds is worth ₹20,900 — 29% of the price rise. The rest of that money goes on things we do not itemise — materials, fit and finish, and the manufacturer's own margin.

Ground clearance is 182 mm. The fuel tank holds 40 litres. These are Renault's own figures.
When was the Renault Triber launched?
The Renault Triber on sale now, the first generation, was launched in India in Aug 2019. It has not been facelifted since.
Is a new Renault Triber or a facelift coming?
Renault has announced nothing, and we found no credible reports of one as of 1 Nov 2026.

How we checked these figures
Data notes — where these figures come from
Prices from Renault's own configurator price list (document BAE6, applicable 28 Sep 2026, the day the turbo was launched), ex-showroom Delhi, plain paint; the Emotion's dual-tone versions are not modelled, and the CNG kit is a dealer retrofit. Equipment from Renault's configurator, checked against the turbo brochure's trim walk (28 Sep 2026); where the configurator leaves the Emotion's rear AC blank, the brochure's walk (rear AC with second- and third-row vents from the Evolution up) is followed. The Emotion AMT is the one Emotion without cruise control in the configurator, and that is followed. Not credited, each because Renault says less than our entry needs: the reversing camera (Evolution up), because Renault does not say its guidelines move; the TPMS, whose type is not stated; the Emotion's smart access card, which earns push-button start because walk-up unlocking is not stated; the 'LED digital instrument cluster' below the Emotion, which is not a TFT display; the driver's seat armrest, which is not a centre armrest; and a 60:40 second row, which Renault does not state. All versions run steel wheels with full or styled covers, which count as wheel covers. The Techno's roof rails carry 50 kg. The Emotion's LED headlamps are projectors. Renault prints the engines in PS: 72 PS and 96 Nm, and 100 PS and 180 Nm, from 999 cc. The brochure quotes 21 km/l without saying which engine or that it is certified, so none is stored.
