How we checked these figures

Data notes — where these figures come from

PRICES: the maker's price service gives two mono-tone paint prices per variant, Metallic and Non-Metallic, and on the Invicto alone the Non-Metallic paint costs more (+Rs 19,300 on the Zeta+ 7-seater, +Rs 9,300 on the Alpha+). The Metallic figure is held: it is the price card's default and the maker's own 'starting at' figure. SEATS: the Zeta+ is sold as a seven- and an eight-seater; only the seven-seater (captain chairs) is modelled, as on the Innova Hycross. The eight-seater's 60:40 second row and second-row centre armrest are therefore not credited. SAME CAR AS THE INNOVA HYCROSS: the Invicto is built on the Hycross strong hybrid. The maker prints the same 1987 cc engine, 139 kW total system output and 22.16 km/l certified figure; its current brochure prints no engine torque (only the motor's 206 Nm), so the engine's 191 Nm is held identical to the Hycross. STRONG HYBRID = fuelType hybrid, as on the Hycross. There is no petrol-only Invicto. SCREENS: the Zeta+ 20.32 cm (8-inch) screen earns the 8-inch rung; the Alpha+ 25.65 cm (10.1-inch) screen sits at the 9-inch rung, below the 10.25-inch entry. Both grades have a 7-inch colour TFT MID, which earns the 7-inch cluster rung. CAMERAS: the Zeta+ has a 'Rear View Camera' with no stated guideline type and is not credited. The Alpha+'s '360 View Camera with Dynamic Guide Lines' earns both the surround-view and the guided rear-camera entries. The Zeta+ has no parking sensors at all, front or rear. REAR SCREEN: both grades have the rear wiper and washer, but the rear defogger is Alpha+ only, so the Zeta+ holds neither rung of the rear-screen ladder. POWER WINDOWS: the maker's row reads 'Power Window (Auto Up/Down with Anti-pinch)' without naming the rear doors; rear power windows are credited on both grades on the twin Hycross's own matrix, which states them. TPMS: the Alpha+ lists 'Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)' and a 'Tyre Pressure Indicator' on the MID; credited as on the Hycross hybrids. The Zeta+ has neither. NOT CREDITED: wireless Android Auto - the maker lists 'Wireless Apple CarPlay' on the Alpha+ only and never says Android Auto runs wirelessly, so neither grade earns it (an under-credit if it does). Ambient lighting - 'Premium Roof Ambient Lighting' and blue illumination on the co-driver storage and cupholders are not dashboard-and-door lighting. The Alpha+ 'PM 2.5' cabin filter is a filter, not a purifier. Automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers have no row in the matrix. No fog lamps, roof rails or wireless charger are listed. The Alpha+'s second-zone rear automatic climate control, one-touch powered tailgate and acoustic/IR-cut windscreen have no registry entry.
