Skoda Kushaq: questions buyers ask
Which Skoda Kushaq variant is the best value?
Signature 1.0 TSI MT to Sportline 1.0 TSI MT costs ₹20,000, and the equipment it adds is worth ₹10,000 — 50% of the price rise. That is the variant upgrade where equipment explains the most of what you pay. No variant on this car is covered outright by the equipment it adds, so this is the closest it gets. The figure is computed from the feature difference, not chosen.
Which Skoda Kushaq variant gives back the least?
Monte Carlo 1.5 TSI DSG to Prestige 1.5 TSI DSG costs ₹20,000, and it changes no equipment we track. The rest of that money goes on things we do not itemise — materials, fit and finish, and the manufacturer's own margin.
How many variants does the Skoda Kushaq have?
12, across 3 powertrains, from ₹10,69,000 to ₹19,19,000 ex-showroom. Every trim and powertrain Skoda prices - 12 variants across three engine-and-gearbox combinations. Nothing is left out.
What is the EMI on the Skoda Kushaq?
About ₹20,622 a month for the cheapest variant, Classic+ 1.0 TSI MT: ₹12,49,064 on the road in Delhi, 20% down, and a loan of ₹9,99,251 at 8.75% a year for 5 years. A different rate, tenure or down payment changes it — the EMI calculator works it out for your own figures.
When was the Skoda Kushaq launched?
The Skoda Kushaq on sale now, the first generation, was launched in India in Jun 2021. It was last facelifted in Mar 2026: New grille with light bar, slimmer LED headlamps, full-width rear light bar; 8-speed torque-converter automatic replaces the 6-speed on the 1.0; 10.25-inch digital display, rear-seat massage, ventilated powered seats.
Is a new Skoda Kushaq or a facelift coming?
Skoda has announced nothing, and we found no credible reports of one as of 1 Nov 2026.
What colours does the Skoda Kushaq come in?
Skoda lists 13 colours: Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Cherry Red, Deep Black, Lava Blue, Shimla Green, Steel Grey, Brilliant Silver Dual Tone, Candy White Dual Tone, Cherry Red Dual Tone, Shimla Green Dual Tone, Steel Grey Dual Tone. Not every colour is offered on every variant.
What is the Skoda Kushaq's safety rating?
There is no Bharat NCAP or Global NCAP rating for the Skoda Kushaq as it is sold now. The published results are for an earlier version or an older test protocol.
What is the on-road price of the Skoda Kushaq?
The cheapest variant, Classic+ 1.0 TSI MT, comes to about ₹12,49,064 on road in Delhi — ₹10,69,000 ex-showroom plus road tax, insurance, registration and TCS where it applies. Road tax is set by the state, so the total moves by a lakh or more between them.
How we checked these figures
Data notes — where these figures come from
NO MANUFACTURER GRADE WALK EXISTS FOR THIS CAR, so frequentlyComparedPairs is deliberately empty - Skoda prints a key-features summary, not an 'X over Y' chain, the same as the Slavia. VARIANT SET: Skoda's own model page lists 12 variants. Classic+ has no DSG, Signature and Classic+ no 1.5, and Monte Carlo no manual, on both. Skoda's brochure summary grids equipment by trim, not by engine, so the variant carries the Sportline 1.0 automatic's equipment, plus the four-wheel disc brakes Skoda states for every 1.5 TSI. WHEELS from Skoda's brochure (page 23): Classic+ 16-inch Grus, Signature 16-inch Vega Silver, Sportline 17-inch Vega Black, Prestige 17-inch Radim, Monte Carlo 17-inch. Skoda's page says every variant now has alloy wheels as standard. MONTE CARLO IS A STYLING LINE: it credits identically to Prestige on the same gearbox, so the step up to it reports as adding no equipment we track - the Slavia's Monte Carlo exactly. CREDITED FROM SKODA'S OWN WORDS: connected LED tail lamps with illuminated Skoda lettering on Signature and above (the brochure marks the illuminated-lettering row '-' on Classic+, so Classic+ is not credited); four-wheel disc brakes on the three 1.5 TSI variants ('Disc brakes on all wheels in the 1.5 TSI'); wireless Android Auto on the 25.6 cm screen fitted from Signature up, with the 17.7 cm unit on Classic+ (brochure page 23). UNDER-CREDITED where the sources disagree across powertrains, the Slavia's Classic+ call applied consistently: hill assist, the leather-wrapped wheel, cruise control and LED fog lamps are credited on neither Classic+; stability control is not credited on them either, because Skoda's brochure (skoda-newkushaq.pdf) and model page say only '25+ active and passive safety features' and never name ESC per trim (29 Oct 2026); connected car tech is credited nowhere; and the per-tyre pressure entry is credited nowhere. DIGITAL CLUSTER: Skoda's page says the Kushaq has a 26.03 cm digital cockpit but not which trims carry it, and the brochure only marks Classic+ '-'. Every trim with a cockpit is credited at the 7-inch rung, the nearest we can prove; the Slavia's 26.03 cm unit is on its Prestige and Monte Carlo, and if the Kushaq follows, those two are under-credited by the step to the 10.25-inch rung. A 6-way powered driver's seat adjusts height, so height adjustment is credited wherever that seat is fitted. The 6-way seat itself is credited at the 4-way rung and the co-driver's at the powered-co-driver entry - the Kylaq's and Slavia's calls. The 25.6 cm (10.08-inch) screen sits at the 9-inch rung; Skoda's 'Leather' is credited as leatherette. NOT CREDITED, each because no source says it or the source is narrower than the registry entry: electrically adjustable mirrors (no source states them); the seven-speaker system on Prestige and Monte Carlo, which names no brand, amplifier or subwoofer; and the rear-seat massager, which the registry has no entry for. THE TWO AUTOMATICS ARE DIFFERENT TYPES and are stored as such - the 1.0's 8-speed torque converter as 'automatic' and the 1.5's 7-speed DSG as 'dct' - so no comparison is ever published across two engines. NO CERTIFIED EFFICIENCY IS STORED for any powertrain: Skoda's brochure and page carry no figure, and efficiency is certified per model, so the Slavia's cannot be lent to it. RE-READ 29 OCT 2026 against Skoda's own configurator wording, the same calls as the Volkswagen Taigun: the reversing camera is 'Rear View Camera with static guidelines', so the camera entry (moving guidelines) is not credited; the ambient lighting is 'Interior ambient lighting - Dashboard (Dual color)', dashboard only, so it is not credited; the mirrors are 'Electrically foldable external mirrors', not said to fold on locking, so auto-folding mirrors are not credited.
