Mahindra BE 6

The upgrade our valuation covers best is Two → Three on the 59 kWh electric: ₹1,00,000 buys ₹1,18,750 of equipment — 118% of the price rise, so the kit alone covers what it costs.

Which variant to buy

Where the money buys the most equipment, and where it buys the least

One variant on the Mahindra BE 6 is covered outright by the kit it adds. Another is mostly paying for something else. Both are computed from the same feature valuations, not chosen by hand.

This is not a recommendation of a trim — it is the variant whose price rise our tracked equipment best explains, and the one it explains worst. A feature you will never use is worth nothing to you, whatever we value it at. Every upgrade, in order.

Mahindra BE 6: questions buyers ask

Which Mahindra BE 6 variant is the best value?

Two 59 kWh to Three 59 kWh costs ₹1,00,000, and the equipment it adds is worth ₹1,18,750 — 118% of the price rise. That is the variant upgrade where equipment explains the most of what you pay. The kit alone covers what the variant costs extra. The figure is computed from the feature difference, not chosen.

Which Mahindra BE 6 variant gives back the least?

Three+ 79 kWh to Four 79 kWh costs ₹2,00,000, and the equipment it adds is worth ₹45,000 — 22% of the price rise. The rest of that money goes on things we do not itemise — materials, fit and finish, and the manufacturer's own margin.

How many variants does the Mahindra BE 6 have?

7, across 3 powertrains, from ₹19,45,000 to ₹26,95,000 ex-showroom. Covers seven variants across all three batteries at the price without a wall charger; the FE, FE Four and Launch Edition editions and battery-rental (BaaS) pricing are left out.

What is the EMI on the Mahindra BE 6?

About ₹34,203 a month for the cheapest variant, One 59 kWh: ₹20,71,701 on the road in Delhi, 20% down, and a loan of ₹16,57,361 at 8.75% a year for 5 years. A different rate, tenure or down payment changes it — the EMI calculator works it out for your own figures.

What are the Mahindra BE 6's dimensions, boot space and ground clearance?

It is 4,371 mm long, 1,907 mm wide and 1,627 mm tall, on a 2,775 mm wheelbase. Boot space is 455 litres. Ground clearance is 207 mm. These are Mahindra's own figures.

When was the Mahindra BE 6 launched?

The Mahindra BE 6 on sale now, the first generation, was launched in India in Nov 2024. It was last facelifted in Aug 2026: Renamed BE 6 Sporteq: revised variant line-up, a new 70 kWh battery between the 59 and 79 kWh packs, and three 12.3-inch screens on higher variants.

Is a new Mahindra BE 6 or a facelift coming?

Mahindra has announced nothing, and we found no credible reports of one as of 1 Nov 2026.

What colours does the Mahindra BE 6 come in?

Mahindra lists 7 colours: Ruby Velvet, Firestorm Orange, Stealth Black, Tango Red, Deep Forest, Desert Myst, Everest White. Not every colour is offered on every variant.

What is the Mahindra BE 6's safety rating?

Bharat NCAP (Jan 2025): 5 stars for adult occupant protection and 5 stars for child occupant protection (31.97/32 and 45.00/49 points). The rating covers only some variants.

What is the on-road price of the Mahindra BE 6?

The cheapest variant, One 59 kWh, comes to about ₹20,71,701 on road in Delhi — ₹19,45,000 ex-showroom plus road tax, insurance, registration and TCS where it applies. Road tax is set by the state, so the total moves by a lakh or more between them.

How we checked these figures

Data notes — where these figures come from

Built 11 Oct 2026 from Mahindra's September 2026 BE 6 SPORTEQ brochure, a persona walk (One → Two → Three → Three+ → Four, each 'incremental over' the one before) above a specification table, read from a render because the PDF carries no text. Three, Three+ are each sold on two batteries and share one column, which is Mahindra stating the kit is the same. RANGE: 573 / 651 / 708 km (59 / 70 / 79 kWh), MIDC Part 1 + Part 2; MOTOR: 170 / 180 / 210 kW and 360 Nm — the XEV 9e and XEV 9S print 380 Nm for the same platform, and both figures are Mahindra's own. CHARGER: a portable charger (13 A, up to 3.2 kW) comes with every car; the wall box is an accessory, so the stored figures carry none. LEFT OUT: the FE and FE Four (Formula E edition — satin paint, R20 wheels, two screens and a different instrument panel; the FE is priced ₹50,000 BELOW the Three+ 79 kWh and the brochure does not say which Three-only items it keeps) and the Launch Edition, which the brochure groups with Four and Mahindra prices identically. MAPPING: R19 alloys at the 18-inch rung; the 6-way powered memory seat at the 4-way rung; 'Bi-LED headlamps' at the projector rung, as on the XEV 9e and XEV 9S, whose brochures say 'Bi LED projector'; the Four's VR-LED air filtration with AQI display earns the purifier entry. STABILITY CONTROL (29 Oct 2026): Mahindra's BE6_SPORTEQ_BROCHURE.pdf (created 12 Oct 2026, p.7) lists ESP under the ONE's safety kit and builds every higher trim as 'Incremental features over' it, so ESC is credited on all seven now that the entry no longer needs hill hold. NOT CREDITED: the 'Infinity Roof', a fixed glass roof that does not open (the e Vitara call); the electronic parking brake, because no auto hold is stated; leatherette seats, because the brochure names leatherette on the dashboard, door trims and steering wheel only; the Two's manual drive-video recording, which is not a continuous dashcam. Regen levels are not credited as paddle shifters. REVERSING CAMERA (re-read 29 Oct 2026): the maker describes the camera without saying its guidelines move with the steering, so the camera entry (moving guidelines) is not credited.
