Maruti Victoris: questions buyers ask
Which Maruti Victoris variant is the best value?
ZXi 1.5 Mild Hybrid AT to ZXi+ 1.5 Mild Hybrid AT costs ₹2,16,000, and the equipment it adds is worth ₹2,67,000 — 123% of the price rise. That is the variant upgrade where equipment explains the most of what you pay. The kit alone covers what the variant costs extra. The figure is computed from the feature difference, not chosen.
Which Maruti Victoris variant gives back the least?
LXi 1.5 CNG MT to VXi 1.5 CNG MT costs ₹1,35,000, and the equipment it adds is worth ₹54,500 — 40% of the price rise. The rest of that money goes on things we do not itemise — materials, fit and finish, and the manufacturer's own margin.
How many variants does the Maruti Victoris have?
21, across 5 powertrains, from ₹10,49,900 to ₹19,98,900 ex-showroom. Every trim, gearbox and fuel Maruti prices is here, including AllGrip all-wheel drive. Left out: the dual-tone paint versions. The (O) variants are their trim with a panoramic sunroof added, and are shown as such.
What is the EMI on the Maruti Victoris?

What are the Maruti Victoris's dimensions, boot space and ground clearance?
It is 4,360 mm long, 1,795 mm wide and 1,655 mm tall, on a 2,600 mm wheelbase. We hold no ground clearance figure from Maruti Suzuki's own documents. The fuel tank holds 45 litres. These are Maruti Suzuki's own figures.
When was the Maruti Victoris launched?
The Maruti Victoris on sale now, the first generation, was launched in India in Sept 2025. It has not been facelifted since.
Is a new Maruti Victoris or a facelift coming?
Maruti Suzuki has announced nothing, and we found no credible reports of one as of 1 Nov 2026.
What colours does the Maruti Victoris come in?
Maruti Suzuki lists 10 colours: Eternal Blue with Bluish Black Roof, Sizzling Red with Bluish Black Roof, Splendid Silver with Bluish Black Roof, Eternal Blue, Sizzling Red, Mystic Green, Bluish Black, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, Pearl Arctic White. Not every colour is offered on every variant.
What is the Maruti Victoris's safety rating?
Bharat NCAP (Sept 2025): 5 stars for adult occupant protection and 5 stars for child occupant protection (31.66/32 and 43.00/49 points). The rating covers only some variants. Global NCAP (Sept 2025): 5 stars for adult occupant protection and 5 stars for child occupant protection (33.72/34 and 41.00/49 points). The rating covers only some variants.
What is the on-road price of the Maruti Victoris?
The cheapest variant, LXi 1.5 Mild Hybrid MT, comes to about ₹12,26,874 on road in Delhi — ₹10,49,900 ex-showroom plus road tax, insurance, registration and TCS where it applies. Road tax is set by the state, so the total moves by a lakh or more between them.
How we checked these figures
Data notes — where these figures come from
VARIANT SET, confirmed twice over: Maruti's Arena price page lists 21 plain-paint variants and the brochure's own powertrain table on page 16 (Lxi / Vxi / Zxi / Zxi+ against 5MT, 6AT, AllGrip Select 6AT, CNG 5MT and Strong Hybrid e-CVT) gives exactly the same cells - the CNG on LXi, VXi and ZXi only ('Zxi only' in the ZXi column), the 6AT from VXi up, AllGrip on ZXi+ alone, and the strong hybrid on VXi, ZXi and ZXi+. Dual-tone paint is excluded as paint; it is a flat Rs 15,400 on every trim that offers it. THE (O) VARIANTS ARE THE PANORAMIC SUNROOF, on two Maruti sources: the brochure's 'Panoramic Sunroof' row reads '(O)' in the columns headed 'Zxi / Zxi (O)' and 'Zxi+ / Zxi+ (O)', and Maruti's own price cards for the ZXi (O) list 'Panoramic sunroof' as a key feature; So each (O) is its trim plus the roof and nothing else. That is NOT the Grand Vitara's case, where the (O) is not modelled because the brochure never says what it adds. The price of the roof varies a great deal by powertrain - Rs 7,100 on the ZXi petrol, Rs 9,100 on the ZXi+ petrol, Rs 58,000 on AllGrip and Rs 59,000 / Rs 47,000 on the strong hybrid - and those are Maruti's own figures, read twice. EQUIPMENT from Maruti's brochure, one column per trim, with every cell-level qualifier honoured: paddle shifters and the electronic parking brake with brake hold are '6AT' only, so no manual, CNG or strong hybrid is credited with either; the Level 2 ADAS suite and the blind spot monitor are '6AT' in the ZXi+ column, so only the ZXi+ automatics (2WD and AllGrip) carry them and the ZXi+ strong hybrid does not; the 10.25-inch digital cluster reaches the VXi only on the strong hybrid ('Strong Hybrid' in the VXi cell); hill descent control is 'ALLGRIP'. Two credits are readings rather than ticks, and both are stated here. Cruise control is printed '(MT & Strong Hybrid)' in the ZXi+ column because the ZXi+ automatic has the adaptive version listed under ADAS instead; adaptive cruise is cruise control, so the ZXi+ automatics are credited with both rather than shown dropping a cruise control they plainly have. And the AllGrip's terrain modes (Snow, Sport, Lock, Auto) are credited at the lower drive-modes rung, not the drive-and-traction entry, because that entry requires Eco/Normal/Sport engine modes as well and the brochure gives those to the strong hybrid alone; the strong hybrid's Eco/Normal/Power modes are credited the same way. Mapping calls, matching how other cars are read: the 10.1-inch SmartPlay Pro X screen sits at the 9-inch rung, below our 10.25-inch entry; the Infinity 8-speaker system with centre speaker, subwoofer and an 8-channel amplifier is credited as premium branded audio; the 64-colour ambient light, which covers the instrument panel and the doors on the ZXi+, is credited; Suzuki Connect is credited from the VXi, where the brochure starts it; all four wheels have disc brakes on every variant per the specification table, and every alloy is 17-inch because every variant runs 215/60 R17. NOT credited: the front wipers are variable intermittent, not rain-sensing; the LXi's mirrors are not electrically adjustable on either source; and the smart powered tailgate, which our registry does not price. Rear power windows have no row in the brochure; Front and rear power windows are credited on every variant, which is uniform across the range and so cannot distort an upgrade. NO MANUFACTURER GRADE WALK is published for this car, so frequentlyComparedPairs is deliberately empty rather than our own price order wearing Maruti's name. FUEL TYPE: the strong hybrid is stored as 'hybrid', as the Honda City's e:HEV is, so it can never be laddered or matched against a mild-hybrid petrol automatic as if the hybrid system were missing equipment. The Grand Vitara and the Hyryder store theirs as 'hybrid' too (reconciled 9 Oct 2026), so the three strong hybrids are matched against each other on the matchup pages. REVERSING CAMERA (re-read 29 Oct 2026): the maker describes the camera without saying its guidelines move with the steering, so the camera entry (moving guidelines) is not credited.
